Subject: Great Early Phil. Good Recording.

I love this era of Phil......I was at this show w/ Bob Dylan. Dylan put on a good set, too.
LET PHIL SING! Phil kicks ass. This is good stuff and a lot of jammin'. Good energy. Still was weird in 2000 with Jerry gone but this was great.

Subject: Really!!

Old Head here. I remember back in the day with the " Let Phil Sing " chant! It was cool then! BUT now after all these years Why Let Phil Sing? Off key totally! Just listen to the REAL Grateful Dead and THAT'S It!! Stop hanging on to something that's not there!!!!! Quality of recording does sound good. But vocals suck (not recording wise) just the way it is!!!
